Jun. 30th, 2004 06:34 pmHmmm. I'm supposed to teach the Ministry class at church in the 10-11 am hour on July 18, 25, and whatever the next Sunday is. This could be interesting. (I'm trying not to freak out. Freaking out is uncalled for. :) How to change what was originally an 8 hour class into 3 separate half-hour, 45 minutes max, sessions? What to cover? How to guess who's likely to be there? How to engage the folks who actually know about ministry?
Haroom, haroom.
I brought a little icon thingie back for Fr. H., from visiting the Serbian Orthodox church in Szentendre, Hungary. He is happy. :) The chocolate-covered cherries did not go over so well with my Bible study group, though. Who knew? I still have to send out the other gifties I brought back. I got embroidery for the gals in the family, coffee mugs for the guys, and
I finished my scrap book, at least in layout. Still have to get the pictures printed out nicely in 3x5" format. Then it'll be done, and will go on the shelf where no one will ever read it... ;) But heck, I like it. Hopefully my diary'll be a better read than Samuel Pepys' is for 10th graders 400 years after he lived... ;)
