First day of school today... This'll be interesting! It was a year ago today that I interviewed here--maybe not 365 days exactly but it was the first day of their spring semester. Huh.

well that went about as well as could be expected. I had what I thought was a one-hour introductory lecture set up, and it turned out to be only half an hour (probably because I was talking too fast!). I had my 2nd lecture set up--I spent much of Sunday getting it ready to go--but I discovered that it hadn't been saved in the directories that I had put on my thumb drive!! SIGH.

But I winged it using a text book I had with me and the document projector, so they could see the images and we could talk about it. The hubby definitely has a point, that Powerpoint is not the best way to do lectures. ;)

But now I have to dig up my lecture for Wednesday and fix it, cutting out the bits I've already covered and figuring out how to not use the PPT slides whenever possible...
