Jan. 23rd, 2014 06:35 amThird lecture of the year yesterday, still going well. One of the students came up to me after class and said that the info on Rate My Professor didn't do me justice, which was a) sweet and b) a shock to think someone had put me on Rate My Professor. I was pretty sure the last time I taught a class that website wasn't even up yet. ;) I took a plunge yesterday evening and looked--couldn't contain my curiosity, to be honest--and nope, there's no one by my name who is me on that site. There are 5 people with my name and none of them were at any university I've ever been at.
So on the one hand, who was she comparing me to? and on the other, do I need to start my own entry there, to make sure the ratings are accurate? :)
(Is this like Yelp or TripAdvisor, where you can make dummy entries and give yourself good reviews? :)
